How to Export the AAFDI Community Calendar to Your Personal/Work Calendar
Want to keep your calendar and stay in sync with our community events? Here’s how to export the calendar so it appears in apps like Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Microsoft Outlook:

• Open the community calendar.

• Look for the “Subscribe” or “Export” option (often found in the menu under Settings → Export Events or similar).

• Choose the format for your calendar app:

• Use an iCalendar (.ics) or iCalendar Feed (URL) to sync directly.

• Alternatively, download the .ics file and import it manually to your calendar app.

• Add the feed or imported file in your calendar app:

• In Google Calendar, use Other Calendars → Add by URL.

• In Apple Calendar, use File → New Calendar Subscription.

• In Outlook, add via Open Calendar → From Internet.

• Once added, changes made in the community calendar will appear in your calendar too (subject to your app’s refresh frequency).

Tip: If you’re using a feed URL, you’ll get updates automatically. If you imported a file manually, you’ll need to repeat the import to get new events. By exporting the calendar, you’ll never miss an upcoming event—everything will show up alongside your personal or work appointments.
